== Đánh số dòng ==
Đối với tác phẩm dài nhưng lại không chia thành khổ thơ, có thể sẽ hữu ích hơn nếu thêm số dòng vào văn bản để dễ cho người đọc nào muốn chú thích các dòng hoặc đoạn cụ thể. Không có một tiêu chuẩn thống nhất nào cho loại mã định dạng này trên Wikisource. Một phương pháp (ví dụ trong ''[[Truyện Kiều]]'') là đánh dấu cứ mỗi năm dòng, dùng font chữ nhỏ màu xanh, ở phía bên phải của dòng (để không làm thay đổi cách vô hàng). Mỗi số dòng cũng có cả móc neo HTML để thuận tiện hơn khi liên kết đến trực tiếp — ví dụ [[Truyện Kiều#dong300|<nowiki>[[Hellas#dong300]]</nowiki>]]. Ví dụ:
